65% of Users Prefer Logging in with Facebook [Infographic]
Statistics are great but they aren’t always a lot of fun to read. I mean, who really wants to look at a bunch of numbers and read pages of plain text?
As a designer, I prefer more visual formats and I’m sure I’m not alone. That’s why I’ve summarized the 2014 Social Login and Social Sharing Stats Report into a nifty little infographic for all of us.
The 2014 report provides an in-depth analysis into how social media integrations like social login and social sharing are growing in popularity and have come to matter greatly to your website’s success. It’s based on data from 3.2 billion share views and over 120,000 customer websites globally.
Not only do these 2014 social statistics examine variables like age, gender, device types, and geographic location but they provide trends comparing all four quarters of 2013 to those in 2014 to show how things are changing and progressing.
Feel free to read the full social statistics report here, or view my infographic below. You’ll still get plenty of facts, like how 97% of websites offering social login give Facebook as an option, but in a fun format.
Did I make statistics fun? I don’t mind if you compliment me in the comments below ;-)
Not so crazy about my infographic? Download the full report (i.e. the boring version) and leave me a comment about what I missed or what you’d like to see next time.
